3 Quick Tips for Increasing Sales

There are two ways to increase sales, either by increasing the number of customers or by increasing the size of the sales to current customers. The problem is that it is often more expensive to get more customers than it is to generate more sales than current customers.

#1 – Incentivize Your Staff

Your staff are the point of contact for your customers. Often times staff can feel reluctant to push products to clients because they think of themselves as beauty artists as opposed to sales people. By providing your staff with commission they will be more inclined to sell your products.

#2 – Show the Products

You’ve spent your time and done your homework finding the best quality products to sell to your customers. You cannot effectively communicate the quality of the products by pointing to how they look on the shelf or by verbal communication. The best way to show the products is to wear the cosmetics or to demo products on clients. This can effectively communicate how the products work and what they look like on.

#3 – Display the Products Prominently

It is easy to carry products but put the products in a corner of your area that is out of the way. The problem is that if all your products are kept in a corner customers won’t notice what you have for sale. By keeping the products and cosmetics that you carry in a central location in your shop your customers are more likely to take notice of what you have available.
